“The Security Expert”

Paul Cella, CEO at Industrial Security Integrators has almost 20 years of experience with the highest levels of security operations beginning his career in intelligence with the United States Marine Corps. After serving for the country, he moved on to work as the Director of Security for many organizations both large and small. Paul’s firsthand subject matter expertise is unmatched, as well as his business operations knowledge that continues to help the Company grow. Paul put together a cross-functional team of security, infrastructure, and technical experts to comprise his new Company and set it up for success. He sets the strategic direction, architecture and governance of the corporation’s security readiness to drive innovation, stimulate growth, enable change and create a competitive advantage to provide exceptional customer service.

"IsI’s team of certified Facility Security Officers are well-versed in all aspects of Industrial Security, Compliance and Management of day-to-day security operations."

In 2010, Paul identified a need for specialized subject matter expertise in the field of Industrial Security. Bringing together his years of experience and vision for the ever-changing needs of companies working with the Federal Government, Paul founded Industrial Security Integrators LLC (IsI) with a cross-functional team of security, infrastructure, and technical experts. He sets the strategic direction, architecture and governance of the corporation’s security readiness to drive innovation, stimulate growth, enable change and create a competitive advantage to provide exceptional customer service. “Our goal is to be the leading innovator of National Security solutions throughout Government and Industry,” he says. “Reducing the risk of Insider Threats, Foreign Threats, and basic vulnerabilities to our Intelligence Community and Warfighters is the critical fight that the United States must counter every day. Streamlining inefficiencies, sharing information, and co-utilizing resources is the process that IsI is focused on implementing.”

IsI’s team of certified Facility Security Officers are well-versed in all aspects of Industrial Security, Compliance and Management of day-to-day security operations. Each client is initially assigned to the IsI Compliance Team for analysis and evaluation of their existing security program. Once the requirements are established, the client is then assigned a team of people through a helpdesk to provide support by phone and/or email 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. IsI has the expert knowledge and experience in security needed to implement custom processes for clients in support of any US customer worldwide and ensures client’s customer compliance, as well as internal requirements are properly assessed, understood, implemented and successfully met. IsI defines solutions, identifies and corrects security issues, develops and implements corporate policies and procedures to include Standard Practice & Procedures (SPP), Operational Security (OPSEC) Plans, and Operational Policies for client specific requirements and needs. IsI support includes but is not limited to the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DCID, ICD, and other government and firm security policies and procedures.

LR Associates (LRA) was the first client of Industrial Security Integrators (IsI). Under a task order that LRA received, IsI coordinated their submission of paperwork to the Defense Security Service (DSS) for their Facility Clearance (FCL). Once the FCL was issued, IsI was then to build their security program that was compliant with all National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) requirements. LRA was able to receive their FCL in very little time, enabling the company to perform on their Government Contracts within thirty (30) days of submission of the paperwork. With the security program that IsI built, LRA has been able to maintain on average a Commendable rating from DSS during their Annual inspections. This launched IsI to identify their niche of Managed Security Services for small to medium businesses.

For Paul, the end goal for IsI is to transition the entire United States Government and Contractor Community to a streamlined, single platform, to manage their day-to-day National Security Program. This concept will allow for effective management of all insider threats, counterintelligence concerns, to be shared across the Intelligence Community, while reducing the risk of loss or compromise of classified materials. “Employed effectively, it will reduce the risk of another issue such as Eric Snowden turning over secrets to a Foreign Government or the loss of classified technology,” he adds.IE
