This way I am making sure that I am working hard while the competition is still sleeping.”

According to Julio, for decades only Fortune 500 and Public companies in the United States had access to Federal Tax Credits that required engineering and scientific expertise. “I decided two decades ago to bring these resources to CPA firms nationwide to be able to provide these important tax credit to their clients,” explains Julio. “I wanted to marry the science of engineering with the principles of tax and accounting. And bring specialty tax services to mainstream America that were previously only available to public companies through the Big 4 accounting firms.”

Today the most recent challenge has been the Pandemic that is affecting any and every industry. During this challenging time Julio is pivoting to give most employees the ability to work from home and pioneering to make sure Engineered Tax Services sells through different channels as all their conferences have been cancelled. “We had to adjust quickly but I’m proud to say I never laid off or terminated any employees during the pandemic. We saved every employee and actually added new staff,” says Julio. “During the Pandemic we were working hard to educate clients that they were eligible for refunds based on the tax laws and that with our studies we good generate substantial refunds for them that would help them survive the pandemic without having to shut down their businesses.”
