ClickPay, Kushner’s online maintenance orders, virtual leasing, tablets, and other leasing software have been adopted to help provide an easy user experience. Additionally, by investing in training and internal employee development initiatives, the company is attracting better qualified candidates which has helped to elevate the quality of service the company is able to provide.

Jennifer has spearheaded the implementation of Ceridian, a human capital management program which includes a variety of modules designed to increase efficiency, accuracy, and ease of use for all staff. The company is also investing in an employee recognition program, is continually rolling out new modules from Yardi Rent Café, is using ClickPay for easy online payments for residents, Concur travel for easy travel bookings and reporting, Nexus payables to reduce the time spend on invoicing and budgeting. Additionally, the company is continuing to roll out cell phones and laptops to give employees more flexibility as well tablets and interactive leasing software.

During the past few months, faced with a global pandemic and the uncertainties of the market, Jennifer managed to lead her teams to a smooth transition to a virtual workforce almost overnight. During this time, Jennifer ensured that all of the company’s accounting functions continued as normal and didn’t affect the business and the staff. Jennifer also led the IT department in transitioning the company's entire multifamily portfolio to virtual leasing and all corporate employees to working remotely. She also oversaw the HR department’s transition to remote hiring and onboarding as well as enhanced training and employee development and continued the annual summer internship program. Her leadership has allowed the company and its employees to continue to flourish in this difficult climate.

“We are currently wrapping up Nexus payables our electronic payment processing system. We are also looking to implement an Investor portal Q1 2021 for online real time investor reporting,” she says. She is also continually networking and speaking with other professionals in the industry to gain new insights on creative problem-solving solutions. She has implemented a formal internship program, and has developed a talent management, on-boarding and employee development program which has resulted in an increase in employee retention and overall engagement.
